HÅJA (70x100 cm)
HÅJA
This small island that can be seen from Kvaløya or Senja. The architect Jan Inge Hovig was inspired by the shape of the island when he designed the Arctic Cathedral in Tromsø. Håja was a fishing village in the past, but now the island is uninhabited and can only be visited by boat. When you are at sea, it can look like the island of Håja is floating above the water, this is due to the phenomenon; "hildring" where the sunlight hits the top of the waves and creates an optical illusion that the island is floating above the waves.
Big art poster (70x100 cm) Offset print on fine matte paper. Limited edition, Signed and numbered.
